How do I use it?
Enter your sector, sub-industry and specific process and the tool will derive a list of impacts and dependencies. Within the dependencies tab, there are subcategories defining the related ecosystem services and assets.
The Impacts tab lists impact drivers and assets. Within the impact drivers, material impacts are listed and rated which helps businesses understand what is material to their business process. ENCORE also provides factsheets for additional information and possible actions to take.
There is also a global mapping tool which provides different data layers which display hotspots where biodiversity is under pressure.
User Feedback
It’s a great place to start but some businesses may not be represented. It can also be difficult to reconcile some of the impacts and dependencies.
