The Roadmap to Nature Positive

The roadmap has three phases: Assess, Commit and Transform.
Disclosure is a feature of each of these phases.

Phase one: Assess

With BFBI’s support, your business will embark on an ongoing cycle of self-assessment, through data-gathering, fine-tuning & disclosure at each stage to ensure your biodiversity actions are in line with current guidelines, national and international policy and science-based targets.

The aims of the pilot programme are:

  • To assess the available frameworks, methods and tools to help Irish businesses understand their impacts and dependencies on nature and biodiversity
  • To help business understand what is happening within their value chain
  • To assist with the creation and implementation of meaningful biodiversity strategies
  • To support businesses in applying appropriate tools and methods
